The
Center for Campaign Leadership is a nonpartisan, campaign training and
research organization located at the University of California at Berkeley
and is funded by a grant from The Pew Charitable Trusts.
The mission of CCL is twofold: to teach practical campaign
skills to young people interested in public service; and to improve
the campaign behavior of candidates and their advisors in a way that
encourages greater confidence and participation in American elections
and government.
CCL Campaign
Training seminars are designed to:
- stimulate
the development of professional behavior and expertise by identifying
outstanding ethical experts, programs, policies and practices
- bring
ethical issues confronting political consultants into focus and effectively
present models of ethical behavior
- deliver
real-life training and instruction from practicing political consultants
