Donna Lucas
is the Executive Vice President, Public Affairs Practice Leader, for
Porter Novelli International, one of the largest and most highly regarded
public relations firms in the world, which provides a broad range of
communications services to clients in 56 countries. As leader of the
Public Affairs Practice, Donna directs a seasoned group of specialists
who combine political, policy, and media expertise to assist clients
with public policy challenges. Donna is a widely recognized expert in
media relations and political and public affairs. She has advised clients
ranging from The Inaugural for California Governor Gray Davis, major
corporations, non-profits, labor unions and associations. Donna served
as a press secretary to former Governor George Deukmejian, she was campaign
press secretary for President George H. Bush, and assistant director
of public affairs at the California Treasurer's Office.
