TRAINING SEMINARS

Thank you for your interest in Center for Campaign Leadership. As of November 30th, 2003 the training portion of the Center will be closed permanently.  There are no more seminars scheduled.

General Training Information
The Center for Campaign Leadership believes that we can significantly improve the state of election campaigning by providing training to the next generation of political consultants.

The registration fee has been completely underwritten by a generous donation from The Pew Charitable Trusts. Only a nominal materials fee of $40 is required for participation in any of the trainings.

Space in campaign trainings is limited; therefore, participation is by application and on a first-come, first-served basis. Interested parties should submit an application as soon as possible to secure a place at the seminar.

Who Should Attend
CCL invites individuals who are relatively new to campaign work and are interested in pursuing this as a career to attend. Institutions of higher education, national political parties and state or nationally elected officeholders are invited to recommend the participation of any individual who has demonstrated leadership potential and/or possess an interest in campaign politics.

The intensive nature of the trainings, including both lecture and hands-on workshops, requires a commitment by all attendees to participate in both days of the training.

"Training is so vital to advancing professionalism in the field of political consultation. We believe the nurturing of ethical, democratic leadership may ultimately restore the public's confidence in the process of political campaigning. We are pleased to partner with CCL and our hope is that resulting work will have an impact on the field of political consulting and a material effect on the way campaigns are run."
